Tyvek® Hard Structure

Tyvek® combines all the best physical properties and characteristics of paper, film, and fabric - in one exceptional material. While most products offer water resistance or breathability, Tyvek® offers both. Tyvek® is equally strong and protective in wet or dry conditions. Tyvek® is lightweight, flexible, smooth, particulate free, opaque, and resistant to water, rot & mildew, chemicals, abrasion, and aging. Tyvek® has a high strength-to-weight ratio and is pH 7 (neutral). Made from 100% high-density polyethylene fibers, Tyvek® is manufactured in a unique flash-spinning process without the use of binders.

Type 10 Tyvek® is significantly lighter than traditional fabrics or papers. Hard Structure Tyvek® styles are paper-like and have a smooth slick surface with a very low coefficient of friction. Easy to handle, lightweight, strong, and extremely durable, Tyvek® lends itself easily to a variety of applications that benefit from its unique characteristics and is easily sewn on any conventional sewing machine. Hard Structure Tyvek® Rolls - Style 10G
Tyvek® style 10G is excellent in applications where protection from water, dirt, and environmental pollution is necessary. It is used as a rug wrap to protect high value oriental rugs during shipping and is also outstanding for long lasting perforated furniture patterns and clothing patterns. It is easy to perforate, mark, and cut. Unlike paper, Tyvek® is tear resistant and unaffected by water. Style 10G is not suitable for printing or laminating.

Style 10G Tyvek® rolls are available as follows:

Hard Structure Tyvek® Rolls - Style 10GX
Style 10GX Tyvek® rolls are used for murals, theater backgrounds, photo backgrounds, and other applications where wide widths are necessary. These Tyvek® rolls are significantly lighter than traditional fabrics or papers. Hard structure Type 10 Tyvek® styles have a smooth slick surface with a very low coefficient of friction. They are easy to handle, lightweight, strong, and durable. Style 10GX is not suitable for printing or laminating.

Style 10GX Tyvek® rolls are available as follows:
